What documentation do I need to rent a storage unit?


You will need a government issued I.D. Accepted forms are State Drivers License/ I.D. or Passport. Bulldog Self Storage accepts Visa, Master Card, Discover or Amex.

Do you accept cash?


No, we do not accept cash payments. Bulldog Self Storage accepts Visa, Master Card, Discover or Amex. ACH drafts are also offered at this location.

Do you have an automatic payment program?


Yes. The credit card you use to rent the unit will automatically be set up on autopay, unless otherwise specified. Receipts will be automatically emailed when autopay runs on the 1st of the month.

Am I required to make a deposit to rent?


No. Leases are month-to-month. There is a one-time admin fee of $25 at the time of lease, which is standard across storage. We prorate the first months rent -- you only pay for the remaining days of the month that your lease starts.

Am I required to rent for any specific period of time?


No, all rentals are strictly on a month-to-month basis.

What is needed to access my storage unit?


We use a keypad with computerized gated entry to access the property. Your gate code will be sent once the signed lease agreement is received. All codes are unique and easy to remember.

What are the access hours of the storage units?


Drive-up units are accessible 24 hours daily, 7 days a week.

Do you sell locks?


No. The tenant will supply the lock. Bulldog Self Storage recommend disc locks. These are available at hardware stores and major retailers.

What does the typical drive-up unit consist of?


Drive-up units are fully enclosed, featuring a roll up door with chain hoist, concrete floors and light and power inside each unit.

Are the drive-up units easily accessible?


Bulldog Self Storage offers 60' wide drive aisles. Drive aisles are also well-lit at night.

What size units are available?

Bulldog Self Storage offers a variety of large, fully enclosed storage units. We offer 12' and 14' tall door options. We pride ourselves on offering those hard to find units for large storage unit needs.

How do I know if what I want to store will fit in the unit?

It is best practice to measure the actual total length, width and height of the item you wish to store. This will ensure that we complete the lease on the correct unit to fit your storage needs.

Can the drive-up units be used for general storage other than vehicles, etc.?

Yes, we have many customers who are storing business inventory, landscaping equipment, tools, machinery, etc. When using drive up storage, be aware that all stored items are subject to the ambient temperature outside. The power outlets are not designed to support any items with a fan or motor.

Are there any restrictions on what we may store?


Yes. We do not allow any toxic chemicals, liquids/gases, poisons, or things that give off odors that may affect neighboring units. Food and flammable liquids are prohibited.

Can we use the drive-up units as a workshop?


Within reason, yes, but we do not allow lathes, welding machinery, heavy duty auto repairs, woodworking saws that create sawdust or similar items. Painting is prohibited. Please protect the walls and floors as needed. Attaching anything to the structure is prohibited.

What steps do you take to deter crime?


Bulldog Storage is fully surrounded with an 8' wrought iron fence. Drive aisles are well lit at night, multiple DVRs record the property, and our facility is equipped with a computerized gate with keypad entry. Each tenant will receive their own unique gate code at time of rental. Code sharing is prohibited.

Do you treat for Pest Control?


Pest Control is completed on a maintenance schedule. Once a unit is secured with a tenant lock, it is the responsibility of the tenant to treat the inside of the unit. A good rule of thumb is to treat your storage unit as an extension of your home garage.

Pest Control is a community effort.

What is the process for ending the rental?


Bulldog Storage requires a 30-Day Written Move-Out Notice. We ask that you leave the unit in the same condition as it was when you rented. Please remove all of your items, broom sweep the unit and remove your lock. Submit a photo of the vacant unit to 281-715-7157 to finalize the move-out. We will then email you a vacate receipt for your records.
