FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1.  What documentation do I need to rent a storage unit?

You will need a government issued I.D.  Accepted forms are State Drivers License/ I.D. or Passport.  Bulldog Self Storage accepts Visa, Master Card, Discover or Amex.

2.  Do you accept cash?  

No, we do not accept cash payments.  Bulldog Self Storage only accepts Visa, Master Card, Discover or Amex.  ACH drafts are also offered at this location.

3.  Do you have an automatic payment program?  

Yes.  The credit card you used when renting will automatically be set up with our on autopay.  Receipts will be automatically emailed to you when autopay runs on the 1st of the month.

4.  Am I required to make a deposit to rent?  

No.  We prorate the first months rent so you only pay for the remaining days of the month that your rental starts.  There is a one-time admin fee of $25 at the time of lease, which is standard across storage.  

5.  Am I required to rent for any specific period of time?

No, all rentals are strictly on a month-to-month basis.

6.  What is needed to access my storage unit?  

We use a secure keypad code for entry onto the property.  All codes are unique, secure and easy to remember.

7.  What are the access hours of the storage units?

Drive-up units are accessible 24 hours daily.

8.  Do you sell locks?  

No.  We do recommend the disc type locks for the security of your storage unit.  They are available at most major retailers.

11. What does the typical drive-up unit consist of?  

The drive-up units have a roll-up, chain hoist steel door, concrete floors and include power and light inside.

12. Are the drive-up units easily accessible?

Yes.  Bulldog Self Storage offers 60' wide drive aisles, which are also well lit at night, which makes backing your boat, trailer, RV or vehicle into the units much easier.

13. What size units are available?  

We have a variety of different sizes.  We have plenty of availability in all sizes we offer!

14. How do I know if what I want to store will fit in the unit?  

Because all dimensions listed are approximate, it is best that you measure the actual total length, width and height of the item you wish to store, as it will make it much easier for us to verify that we have a unit that will fit your storage needs. 

15. Can the drive-up units be used for general storage other than vehicles, etc.?  

Yes, we have many customers who are storing business inventory, landscaping equipment, machinery, etc.  Just understand that these are not climate controlled units so anything that you store is subject to the ambient temperature outside.  The power outlets are not designed to support any items with a fan or motor.  It will only support trickle charge for batteries.


16. Are there any restrictions on what we may store?  

Yes. We do not allow any toxic chemicals, explosive liquids/gases, poisons, or things that give off odors that may affect neighboring units.   


17. Can we use the drive-up units as a workshop?  

Within reason, yes, but we do not allow lathes, welding machinery, heavy duty auto repairs, woodworking saws that create sawdust or similar items.

18. Is your site secure?  

Bulldog Storage is fully enclosed with an 8' wrought iron fence.  All aisles are fully lighted at night, multiple DVRs recording at all times and a secure gate with individually assigned access codes.

19. What is the process for ending the rental?  

Bulldog Storage requires a 30-Day Written Move-Out Notice.  We ask that you leave the unit in the same condition as it was when you rented.  Please remove all of your possessions, broom sweep the unit out and remove your lock.  We will then email you a vacate receipt for your records.
